A wish from the Scarecrow | Todoroki X Reader [32],Entei replaced the vase with another fresh bouquet of daisies and placed another fruit basket on the nightstand. “…Even after all these years, it is still weird to call you Master (last name), because I’ve never sworn an oath to you and you never took that position away from late Lord (l/name), who was my master. Well, just two more years and milady shall be the new master and bring back order, I’m sure.”The city of Hosu has been peaceful ever since Stain was locked up in Tartarus and Entei has been visiting whenever possible just to check on the progress of King Python, hoping the older gentleman would wake up but alas the chances are slim as the chart showed his quirk slowly intensifying and greedier, absorbing his life force to sustain its own, but at the same time supplying its own ‘life force’ to keep King Python alive, repairing his body bit by bit. Though it sounded complicated, Entei understood King Python would not wake up through normal means and might require more than just leading-edge technologies.“Milady might not speak of you any longer, but I think she does not hate you. Or at the very least, I believe it might realise not everything is as it seemed. Even as a child, milady was greatly adored by you, was she not? I’m sure even with her personality swapped and memories removed, one could never truly forget. Nonetheless, forgiveness is hard to come by for her for she is as stubborn as she is strong and knowing she is slowly syncing with her quirk just meant that her quirk might soon reach a whole new stage by the time her provisional license examination comes around… Look at me, speaking to an unconscious man.”The butler felt his effort was literally being wasted as each day passed with no response from King Python. He was grateful that the scars on the man was now healing but the aftermath of such a brutal attack might just leave him incapable of returning as a hero when he became conscious again.“Sir, for milady’s sake, please wake up soon.” The man gently placed his palm over King Python and once again he suddenly felt drained of energy, as if the unconscious man was sapping Entei’s life force to feed his body.Between the two different hospitals Entei had to run, it seemed he barely had any pocket of time to breathe, let alone visit (name) and as much as he hated not being by her side 24/7 and be at her beck and call, he knew she was in safe hands. That was until he remembered the next day was that day.In the late evening by the hallway of Hosu General Hospital, Entei received a dreadful call from (name). At first (name) did asked if there was any sign of King Python waking up but the conversation was slowly leading up to (name) fearing for tomorrow. “I don’t know what will happen tomorrow but I feel it in my bones, something different is coming tomorrow and I’m…” (name) was never one to admit fear that was not related to All for One directly but after experiencing it for years, (name) could sense a change and to her, it was bad.“I don’t want to be locked up again, Entei…! Why must I always be locked up…!? I never choose to harm anyone-”“Milady, please calm down. As long as you are not near anything dangerous such as knives or your balcony, you will be fine. I’ll come down tomorrow to keep an eye on you and make sure you do not harm yourself, that is all I ask for. Please, milady” Entei begged with all his heart even though he knew he was asking for the impossible, “that is really all I ask for.”“…Entei, you know I will never willingly harm myself, right?”Even though that was what he needed to hear, just to elevate a part of his guilt of allowing (name) become such a broken human. The tears that cried for his lady were not enough to ease their pain of the past they once lived through. The pain of losing a loving family; Entei has never felt that warmth before be met (name) and the (last name) family.“No matter how many times you push me, stab me, hit me. The pain would never be comparable to yours so please feel no guilt. I am your butler, I only live for you. Your pain are mine to ease so rest well.”——For as long as he could remember, Entei was the least enviable child in the orphanage. No one paid him any attention when new parents came in, hoping to adopt the perfect child to fit their new family. The director of the orphanage has told him many a times that it was because he was quirkless and has the coldest look in his violet eyes that no one would think twice to consider him as a loving child, looking more like a disgruntled child that is envious that others have superpowers. That was why his parents abandoned him when they realised that he was useless for their devious schemes.Even in a place where all children should be cared for, Entei was extremely lonely and quiet, choosing solitude over anything else. When other kids tried to befriend him, he would avoid them, he knew they would be gone sooner or later while he was left behind again. When kids bullied him, he walked away too, because it was not worth the effort to get angry.Years passed as quickly as snail and soon the silvered hair boy had turned eight, marking his fourth year in this orphanage and knowing it was getting harder to be adopted, the staff in this facilities were getting annoyed at how cold Entei was despite not being wanted, they believe he was too proud of himself. The winter was bitter just like before, yet to Entei it felt more inviting than this orphanage, which seemed even colder with those gazes casted at him every day. With nothing in his name, Entei leaped out the window and did not look back. His bare feet crunched under the thick layer of snow, and wherever he felt like going, he went.He saw on large screens on some buildings that the orphanage has reported him missing and should anyone find him they were to call the police but he did not want it. He wanted a family that cared for him unconditionally. When the nights are cold, he slept with only his two arms around him. When his stomach growled in painful hunger, he waited for strangers to throw away their leftovers into the bin. When he is thirsty, he would stuffed snow into his mouth, who gave a damn if it was dirty as long as he was hydrated at that moment. He wanted to live in a big warm house, he wanted people who love him and hug him, to tell him he was loved.Days passed without anyone reaching their hands out to Entei, and even if there were nice seniors that offered a piece of bread or a drink, that was the furthest they went. That was until one fateful day.Entei was trembling from the cold, his fingers were numb and so were his exposed feet, but his willpower drove him to stay awake. Rubbing his arms, he could feel the difference compared to when he first ran away from the orphanage. In the darkening evening, Entei glanced into the restaurant he chanced upon and looked into the window. Plates upon plates of delicious food were served, the sparkling chandelier that dangled instantly thought Entei this was an establishment he would never be able to step foot in no matter how hard he tried in his entire life.As he continued to look on, his eyes met a pair of round (eye colour) eyes belonging to a girl no older than four, dressed in a fancy kimono and a thick fur coat. Embarrassed, Entei looked away and sigh before walking off. That girl would never be able to understand his situation, seeing as how she was obviously some rich little girl burned with a gold spoon while he was born with barely anything.Down the streets waves of people walked against his directions and without barely any strength left in him, Entei was easily knocked over by the uncaring civilians. Some shoved him and clicked their tongue in annoyance, others curtly demanded for Entei to get off the streets and not block their way.The glass door of the establishment suddenly opened and tiny feet ran after Entei. “Excuse me!” They called out, spotting Entei far into the distance about three streets away. Even though Entei had no idea who this person was calling for, he knew it was not for him and thus he continued walking, and yet the feet continued to chase after him.Once again a burly man that walked a little too close to Entei knocked the boy down, a swirling smirk on his face, savouring the petty satisfaction of causing Entei to call. “Tsk, assholes…”“Excuse me, mister violet! Are you okay?” Violet? Was this person really calling for him by referring him by his eyes? Turning around, he saw the same little girl from the restaurant holding a thick sky-blue scarf in hand, her eyes constantly avoiding looking straight into Entei’s eyes and he knew she was just a timid weak girl. “You’re cold! Please wear this!” Entei stared at the child with a judging expression, wondering if this girl knew what she was doing. Maybe she watched too much television show whereby a girl feigned kindness to get something in return and if so, Entei would not fall for it.“I don’t need it,” he said involuntarily as he stood up, his habit of pushing people away was still deep. It seemed the girl was not easily discouraged and approached Entei, shoving the scarf towards him but he did not accept it. Seemingly afraid Entei might just dissipate into thin air, seeing as how skinny he was, the girl hopped and hooped the scarf around Entei’s neck. “It’s warm, right?”A couple soon came towards the two children and Entei immediately recognised them. They were the pro heroes King Cobra and White Flare. “My little princess, you should not have run off like that.”“But mister violet is cold…” The little ‘princess’ pouted sadly and tugged on King Cobra’s coat, and the man pieced everything together. “I believe you are ‘Entei’, correct?”“…Yes, sir…”“Then follow us, we will bring you back.” King Cobra reached out his hand towards Entei, but the boy refused. He did not want to return to a place that he felt invisible or hostile in. “No, I won’t!”“But staying out like this do you more harm than good, Entei-chan!” White Flare scolded, a motherly gaze held in her eyes as she squatted down and meet eye to eye with Entei. “I would rather sleep on the streets than to return to that horrid place! No one wants me anyway so why do you care!”Shocked, White Flare stood up and covered her mouth. It was then did the girl went up to Entei and as if sensing his hidden cry for help, she grabbed Entei’s hands and turned to her parents. “Mother, father, let’s bring him back home.”Entei would never forget that pair of tiny hands that help his gently and despite the freezing air, his heart felt warm for some reason. The pro hero couple and their daughter drove Entei to the orphanage he came from and in there the couple could see that Entei was really neglected by the staff. It was not the fact that he was not fed but rather, he was emotionally neglected, and they did not like that one bit.All the while when the couple arranged for custody of Entei, the girl never once let go of Entei’s hand. She constantly adjusted the scarf, which was long enough to even wrapped it around his hands, which she did. Even when other kids came up to her and played with her, trying to her the little rich girl to favour them over Entei, she never once changed her mind to pick Entei. The more kids trying to come up to her, the more timid she would get and chose to run and hide behind Entei.“Entei,” the director of the orphanage emerged from the office and gave an apologetic look, “tomorrow the (last name) family will be back to arrange your adoption. Are you sure you-”“Don’t pretend to be nice to me, old hag. Anywhere is better than here.” Entei looked at the little girl who gave him the blue scarf, watching her interact with other kids, still trying to gain her favour but she never once let them and would always wave at Entei.Soon the (last name) family left, and the girl made Entei do a pinky promise with her, that she would be back the next day.Throughout the entire night, kids would once tried to befriend Entei tried their luck again but Entei was just as firm in his beliefs as before and since this time round he was leaving, he saw no reason to form a bond with anyone there. Kids that used to bully him now could only glare and insult him for finding a rich, hero family even though he was quirkless but Entei would always remember the girl’s face, yet he did not know her name. The next day came around surprisingly quick, compared to the past few years, and today he saw that girl again. “Mister violet! Hello!”“Hello… You know… You can just call me Entei…” He was sleepy, excitement consumed him whole the entire night and he barely had a wink the (last name) family would be coming again. Once again, the (hair colour) girl came forward and held Entei’s hands in greetings, a brilliant smile on her face. “Okay, Entei! My name is (name)!” The silverette nodded and gave a small smile, something about her aura was very different from your usual toddler.“Good news, Entei. You are coming home with us today!” White Flare announced the moment the heroes stepped out of the office. Hearing the news, Entei looked up and his eyes brightened. “R-really…? You’re not lying to me, right?”“Why would we lie about it? All that’s left is paperwork and legal documents, but it can be arranged swiftly. Come on Entei, let’s bring you home.” King Cobra gave a fatherly smile and ruffled Entei’s silvery hair and opened the door for him, “I’m sure my other children would be happy to meet you.”Once in the car, the girl grabbed Entei’s hand and began to blow hot air at his fingers and palms, saying how she forgotten to bring a pair of mittens for Entei and all the while he could only stare at the girl. “My little precious one over here was excited to see you again, and we baked something for you,” White Flare said as the chauffeur passed a fancy packaged item, it was cookies. He had always wanted to try one but never had the chance back then. The cookies were devoured quickly as Entei continued to wolf down, he has never tasted anything like it before. Only upon the sweetness of it did he realised just how starved he was the entire time.A gentle hand reached out and patted Entei by the hand, a soft smile present on the girl’s face. “Isn’t it great? We are a family now!”Entei looked over to the small girl next to him and slowly his vision was blurry. He was crying.Entei quickly wiped away the tears away with his arms but no matter how much he wiped, the tears never stopped. The girl continued to pat him and said not a word more, allowing Entei to cry in peace. With all emotions that once were a storm in Entei’s heart now calming down, exhaustion took over and the boy could not help but close his eyes, for once he knew he would be able to sleep without worrying about freezing to death without a shelter over his head.——Just like before, (name) was standing motionlessly for a long time and Todoroki stood near her, glancing around the foyer. He was amazed at its interior, it was astonishing. “I used to...play here? Unbelievable.” For the longest time he had always thought he was living a harsh life whereby his siblings and him were separated. The innocent normal childhood days of interacting with his family were barely in his mind and now he found out he had a bigger childhood that was taken away from him as well?Compared to his own abode, which was more towards the traditional Japanese architecture, the (last name) residence seemed to be one made out of someone’s fairytale dream.“Shio-nii-sama, she is evil…” (name) murmured and then Todoroki felt a tug from her small hand.“(Name)?” The said girl slowly glanced around as well before heading up the stairs, tears streaming down her face and Todoroki realised at that moment, she was more aware of her surrounding. It felt as though time stood still the moment the two of them reached the top, an ominous feeling as Todoroki stared into the hallway. Even though the morning ray were shining in, it felt dark.“(Name), where are you headed?” Without a word, the (hair colour) girl pointed at the hallway and ran behind Todoroki like a timid child. “What’s over there, (name)?”“Nanny is smiling at us, she’s a bad, bad, bad maid. I don’t like her,” She said as she peered out slowly, “I want my old nanny back, she never tried to poison me….”“What… What are you saying, (name)…?” Todoroki turned around and wanted to meet eye to eye with (name) but the girl immediately hugged Todoroki, her face hiding in his chest as her body shook violently, as if seeing a ghost. Todoroki wrapped his arms around (name) protectively and looked back to the hallway. “This is your childhood home, right? Look, everything’s normal here. There’s no one here to hurt you.”The girl took a while to calm down before looking up to Todoroki, grabbing a fist full of his shirt and cried. “Where is Entei? I want Entei! He believes me, you never believe me!” The half-cold-half-hot quirk user felt his heart shattered but he complied, knowing what (name) was saying was not directed at him but rather someone else by the name of Shio.Todoroki slowly led down (name) the steps, careful to not let her trip over her kimono however the girl was more than accustomed to such garment and walked down perfectly graceful despite her blurry vision. “He said they would be at the common area, but where is it?” Despite asking so, Todoroki took the correct turn and ended up in the big room and spotted the two pro heroes and Entei, who was pouring tea.“Sir, Ms. Midnight, Entei-”“Entei...!” (Name) cried out and ran towards the butler, colliding into him the very moment he placed down the teapot and the two fell to the ground. “Milady!?” Confounded, Entei was flabbergasted and at a lost for words at the sudden change in (name). “What’s going on?” Midnight asked, ready to assist. The R rated hero got up and helped (name) up whilst Entei massaged his rear.“Mother, I’m scared!” (Name) suddenly turned to Midnight and hugged her instead, pointing at Todoroki, “Shio-nii-sama never believes me!”“M-Mother…!?” Midnight exclaimed; her eyes widened in not just the sudden label but also at the childish voice coming out from (name) herself as she portrayed herself like a young child. Looking up to Entei for an answer, the butler held his hand up to indicate to wait and see. They watched as (name) continued to hug Midnight, her delusions made it evident that (name) had somehow tricked her brain to believe they were her family members, and they were alive and well. “Let us play this out, if we are fortunate enough, milady might be the one who has the answer I need to further my investigation. Now then… Milady, could you please explain your words clearly and concisely?” And with that, Entei slowly played into the role he was meant to play, just a loyal butler that cared for his lady and someone who help keep her image.Looking towards the silver haired man, (name) slowly let go of Midnight and lowered her head, as if embarrassed she was reprimanded for her lack of manner. “My sincerely apologies, Entei… I shall keep in mind this reminder and not act out of line.”“You need not apologise. Now, you mentioned about being afraid of your nanny. May I know who you were talking about?” Upon hearing that Entei wanted more details, (name) grabbed Todoroki by his hand and began to lead everyone back to the Foyer and up the long flight of stairs, pointing at the end of the hallway with blatant fear in her eyes. “She always stands there.”Unlike Entei, who seemed to have readily accept this entire situation, the three others felt a eerie shiver down their spine as they engulfed in a deafening silence, unable to comprehend what was happening as they continued to look at the direction (name) was pointing at. It felt as if she was the only one who was staring at a ghost.Entei pondered long and hard as to who (name) was referring to, knowing there were quite a handful of nannies for each child since they were, in their own rights, problem children and requires the highest attention and delicate care. “Milady, I’m afraid I do not know who you are referring to. Perhaps you would like to show me how she looks like?”The young girl narrowed her eyes and pouted before making her way down the well-lit hallway and made a sharp left turn towards a separate wing. “Where are you going, (name)?” Aizawa finally spoke, still trying to digest the situation he was currently in.“That is the direction to the ‘Recording Hall’ and milady’s area of residence. We should follow her,” Entei informed as a pained look casted over, “let us hurry.” The four followed closely behind as (name) kept glancing out the window along the way, it seemed she was keeping a lookout for something. “Is something the matter, lady (last name)?”,“I don’t know, Entei…” Once again, (name) rushed towards her room without explaining herself. The others followed her further into the wing and came to a large, rather overwhelming, mini foyer-like area. Walls lined with a large array of books ranging from autobiography of heroes and famous authors, fictions of many genres, dictionaries of various languages, literatures that fueled one’s creativity, books after books of historical records, family bloodline and weighty tomes. There were two sets of spiral stairs, one leading up to the second level and into an inner library, another lead down to an open bedroom.“This place is pretty impressive,” Aizawa commented as he squinted his eyes to reduce the glaring sun ray, “I would never believe (name) was into reading. I’ve never seen her picked up a single book.”“The moment they realised milady love books, this wing that was the archive-cum-library, turned into her living area and every day she would read just before heading to sleep. At the very beginning when milady was still recuperating from her fatal injury, reading became not a routine but a burden,” Entei explained, and pointed upwards where the library expanded and there was a door at the end, “in there was where milady loves to play with Todoroki. I’ve never been in there, milady prohibited everyone else.” Entei chuckled and just then (name) came up and grabbed his arm. “No one is allowed in there, okay? It’s our secret place! I promised Sho-tan that even if he never comes back to play, it’s our secret place still!”“Of course, milady. I’m sure Todoroki would appreciate you for keeping that promise.” Entei bowed, and with that, the (hair colour) girl dribbled down the stairs and towards the bedroom. “How the hell are you acting as if everything’s normal, roaming this place freely…!?” Todoroki questioned, agitated to see (name) acting like a completely different person in the place where her family died. Entei turned around and looked at Todoroki, whose face twisted in anger. “Like I said, every year lady (last name) was locked in a room to prevent her from climbing up random balconies or grabbing dangerous weapons but once in a while she would say some outlandish stuff. It wasn’t until this morning did I realise all these while she has been relapsing to that day, and she saw another person aside from All for One. I need that answer, and to capture whoever it is that might bring harm to not only milady, but the rest of Japan. Just because All for One is locked up, does not mean we are safe entirely. Aside from Shiguraki Tomura and his followers, who else does All for One has that was able to enter this jurisdiction? Or perhaps it was an inside job that brought hell that day. In order for me to find the answer and continue my investigation, I need to pretend everything milady is doing now is normal and let her re-enact things out.”“…It’s not fair for her. She shouldn’t have to live through that event over and over again.” Todoroki replied, dismayed. Aizawa came up to Todoroki and placed a hand on his shoulder to calm the boy down. “I’m not entire happy about what is happening either but the (last name) family has always been known to be doings things differently from us normal folks, they do not live by the same rules as us. Let’s put our trust in her.”Midnight, who has been listening in the entire time, glanced down the stairway and watched the girl walked around her room, in search of something. Blue ink, calligraphy brushes and a large piece of calligraphy paper before placing them on the ground. Kneeling down, (name) pulled her long sleeves up and began to paint “What are you doing down there, dear?”Glancing up, (name) smiled and waved her brush before continuing to paint, a blue jay on a tree branch. Breaking the tension amongst the three males, Midnight got Entei’s attention and pointed at the girl in kimono, “Entei, you asked how the ‘nanny’ looks like, but (name)-chan is painting a blue jay. Are you sure she is alright? I’m very worried about this state she is in. I understand that she will not remember today by the time the next sunrise come, right?”Looking down at the girl who was painting enthusiastically, Entei smiled as he remembered (name) as a young child that loved to draw and paint. “She is not the type of child that would paint what you see, she has a very peculiar gift… Wait- Blue jay! Milady, my I enter your room?!”“Hm?” The girl slowly got up and kept her supplies, before beckoning everyone to enter her room and presented her painting to Entei.,“I’m not good at painting human faces but for some reason, this bird keeps popping in my head when I think of her.” Entei took the wet painting from (name) and Todoroki glanced over as well and at that moment something clicked in their head.“I’ll be making a call to Hosu General Hospital,” Entei replied urgently, “Eraserhead, Midnight, Todoroki, treat milady as you usually would.” With that, the man headed back to the main building. “Where is Entei running off to?”“He has something’s to settle, (name)…” Aizawa patted his daughter’s head and glanced around her room, genuinely confused yet amazed at how even the walls of her room were made up of just books upon books of various weight and genre. It did not felt like a room but rather a nerd’s fantasy but that did not matter now, there was yet another question boiling in him.“Todoroki, care to explain, you seemed to know something about this?” Aizawa asked and crossed his arms as (name) ran into him and hugged him, believing Aizawa to be King Cobra in his delusions. Midnight, taking pity of (name), gently caressed the girl’s head whilst waiting for Todoroki to explain himself.“When (name) was hospitalised, at that moment when we asked her about The Hero Killer and why she was not paralysed in fear at the intensity, she looked out the window. At that moment, there was a blue jay right outside on the branch and it seemed as though it was staring straight at her.” Todoroki’s fists clenched, his eyes looked at the floor. He knew it was not his fault for not noticing, no one did and it seemed even (name) herself was unsure if it was just a normal Blue Jay or was it something suspicious but the moment he saw what she had painted, Todoroki just wanted to slap himself across the face.“Don’t blame yourself, Todoroki. You should know with (name), nothing is as it seems.” Upon hearing said name, (name) perked up and glanced over to Todoroki, now seeing him as him and not Shio. “Sho-tan!” She ran up to him happily but immediately a frown plastered across her lips, tears welling in her eyes and her hands caressed his left face. “What happened…!? Is it painful?! Who did this to you!?”“Calm down, (name),” Todoroki held her hand and brought it down before sing his left hand to stroke her cheek, “I’m fine. Say, do you want to head to our special place?” The lilac-(eye colour) sectorial eyes lit up and the girl nodded fervently, pulling the boy up the stairs and she talked animatedly about how she missed playing with Todoroki. Aizawa and Midnight watched the couple, unsure if they should be fascinated that they just witness a fluff scene or be worried that the two are now in a room by themselves.“Fufufufu, is our dear father Aizawa worried about his daughter being in a. room with a boy~”“Shut it.” Midnight simply giggled and swooned about ‘youth’ and ‘young love’ whilst Aizawa stood there, unhappy that he as unable to supervise Todoroki and (name).

Doctor Who
Connectivity Issues-Doctor/ReaderYou fussed with your phone screen, toggling airplane mode. You tried turning the whole thing on and off. Nothing. “Ugh,” a low growl built in your throat, “I hate it when a planet destroys my Wi-Fi.” The Doctor—useless, skinny lump that he was, sprawled out on the cot with his elbows propped up behind his head—gave a noncommittal humming noise. Your shoulders tensed, practically up to your ears, in response. You looked up from your phone with a tired glare. “Could you… and I know this is a wild thought, so just bear with me for a sec, do something to get us out of here?”“I am,” the Doctor shot back, a little affronted, before he closed his eyes and settled back into the paper-thin mattress. “This is me doing what I do best.”“Lying around?” you asked, sweetly. He tapped his temple. “Thinking.” “I don’t want to say that’s what got us into this mess…” you said under your breath, not sure if you wanted to go from banter session to bickering under the circumstances. But this was the third time you’d found yourself held captive this month, and it was getting old fast. You were officially sick of being stuck, especially in a rough, vaguely medieval cell. The Doctor heard you. He shook his head, eyes still closed “Ah, no, that’s not how I remember it.”“Not how you remember what happened ten minutes ago?”“No, no, no. What I remember from fifteen minutes ago,” the Doctor corrected, in that Know-It-All-Seen-It-All voice that made you feel every frustration under whatever-sun-you-were-under, “is somebody wandered off when they weren’t supposed to and made a big mess of a Gragorean ritual. Wonder who did that, now.”You leaned back into the concrete wall, arms crossed and mouth forming a pout in spite of yourself. “Well whoever it was, they were probably having a really reasonable response to getting sidelined for some pink-haired damsel-type all day.”The Doctor grinned, one corner of his lip dipping into smirk territory. “Sounds like whoever it was might have been a bit, dunno, dare I say jeal—”“You don’t dare.”“Mm-kay.”Smug jerk. You stood up from your little seat in the corner of the cell, shaking your stiff legs. You waved your phone at the Doctor’s lounging form. “Come on, scoot.”“What? No,” the Doctor’s nose scrunched up. “Thinking’s better done comfy. Currently: very comfy. Well, the bed’s a bit spring-y, but definitely been in worse. Cells, I mean. Beds in cells. Not exactly known for being accommodating,” his voice dropped, “bit like someone I know—” You ignored his rapid stream of complaints and, nudging his legs to the side, climbed up onto the cot so that you were standing on it. You wobbled a bit, but you threw out an arm to brace yourself against the wall. The Doctor watched you hold up the phone and wave it around. “What on earth are you doing up there?”You pursed your lips. Still nothing. You lifted the phone higher. “I’m looking for a signal. Or bars, or something.”“What’re you trying to do with that, anyway?”“I don’t know. Signal the TARDIS. Text Donna to see if she’s had any luck getting out of her cell. Shop summer sales online.”He looked up at you for a moment, eyebrows raised while you flailed about above him. “You know, if you just remembered to carry the phone I gave you—”“It’s a flip-phone, you gave me a flip-phone,” you interrupted him, creaking forward on the rickety mattress. “All of time and space, and your phone’s stuck in, what, 2005? It doesn’t fit in my jean pockets.”“Ouch! Oi, watch it!” “Sorry,” you stilled, the bed shaking beneath you and an indignant Doctor. It was an awfully tiny cot. His feet dangled over the side. It was hard to figure out where to put your feet without stepping on him.At that moment, it seemed the Doctor’s pensive silence had progressed into his usual “Aren’t I Clever?” monologue. You ignored him as he began breaking down part one of the great escape, which felt more aimed at the empty room than you anyway. Plus, it started with “Now, the sonic doesn’t work on wood,” which was a bit anticlimactic after ten minutes of brainstorming. Your Wi-Fi symbol flickered, and you fought the urge to triumphantly bounce. Getting somewhere. You stretched up onto your toes, trying to press the phone further toward the top corner of the room. “—But I’ve seen the type before, your general run-of-the-dungeon grate and lumber combo. Bound to be a weak spot near the bottom, old as it is. If we could just make a lever—"You let go of the wall, switching hands to crane forward an extra inch. Just a little further—The Doctor stirred. “Y/N, don’t—"You rocked suddenly, and your weight pitched forward as your center of gravity promptly gave up. You tumbled downward, landing with a yelp. Right onto a very squashed, equally yelp-ing Doctor, who tried his best to cushion your fall by grabbing your torso mid-air. You just barely avoided slamming your head against his.“Right, that went well,” the Doctor half-grumbled, half-whined, “Great work, there, Y/N.”“Sorry, sorry. Really didn’t mean to do that,” you apologized with a wince. You both caught your breath for a second, registering your new position. Your face flushed, and you tried to wiggle backwards, but the Doctor’s grip was firm about your waist and your—“Doctor. Your, uh, hand. Could you…”“Did you even hear anything I just said?” he cut in, brow furrowed. “I was half a tick to getting us out, and there you are, imitating a cell tower when we just need a lev—"You squirmed. “Doctor, your hand’s on my chest.” He froze. Sure enough, one hand propping you up off his chest was on the small of your waist, the other accidentally cupping your—His Adam’s apple bobbed. With a CRACK, the bed beneath you collapsed. You yelped again, the air knocked out of your lungs as you, the Doctor, and the mattress crashed to the floor in a heap of metal bars and bolts. He groaned pitifully as the dust settled.“Oh my god,” you whispered, “Doctor, are you okay?” “Oh, yeah,” he huffed, voice very airy. His grip had tightened on you, and you knew he’d taken the brunt of the fall. “Never better.”“Think anyone heard that?”“What, the enormous thudding sound of a metal bed collapsing?” he asked. “Nah. Probably just thought it was an all-monk alt-rock band.”You lifted your head up, not seeing the sudden fondness in his brown eyes at the sight of your hair all ruffled up and dusty, not noticing the way that his breathing had picked up, not registering the way his body had managed to relax—in spite of the massive bruise forming on his back—against yours. You picked up a broken piece of the bed frame, a thick metal bar about the length of your arm. “Did you say we needed a lever?”The Doctor blinked. “That’ll do it, yeah. Should be able to prop it under a weak spot and jimmy the cell door up enough to slide under.”“That,” you tilted your head to the side to look down at him, “is brilliant.”The Doctor beamed up a big, goofy grin. His voice rocketed upward. “I know. Told you it’s what I do best. That and tiddlywinks. Nobody ever asks me about tiddlywinks, but I’ve dabbled. Absolutely slaughtered Prince Philip in nineteen fifty--”“Doctor?”“Yeah?”“Hand’s still on my boob.”“Uh, yep,” he swallowed. “Right.” You rolled off him, not making eye contact. Metal bars scattered and rolled noisily about the floor of the cell as he tugged you to your feet. He was also very firmly avoiding your eyes. Your body was still running a few degrees warmer than usual, and you were worried he’d notice. You cleared your throat and held up the makeshift letter. “We don’t mention this to Donna.”The Doctor took it, hearts still beating quickly. Surely you couldn’t tell, he hoped. “Best not to,” he agreed. “Right,” he repeated. “That’s enough confinement for today, I’d say.”And the jailbreak commenced. Neither of you noticed your cell phone lit up on the floor, successfully connected to the Wi-Fi....

Tsukishima Kei x Reader - Jackets Chapter 5
Karasuno won against Date Tech and you guys went to congratulate them. “Nice game!” Michimiya was the first one followed by the others. “Great game guys!” You were the last to congratulate them as you were behind of the group. “Whoa (y/n)? What happened?” Sugawara was the first to react as his motherly charms appeared. “Just a bit of accident. Nevermind that you guys did great!” You cheered. “Thanks.” Asahi thanked you. You were talking to them when Hinata saw you the jacket you’re wearing. “Wait (Y/n)? Do you go to two schools?” Hinata questioned and everyone just noticed it too. Kageyama knows you’re Kunimi’s sister as you both went to the same school. “Dumbass it’s impossible.” Hinata thinked hard. “Wait do you mean that she’s in a relationship with someone, like the Great King.”You were about to answer when a cold voice beat you to it. “Hmmm. It seems like Seijoh put a mole in us.”“It’s not like that.” You tried to deny. “Why don’t you teansfer and be lovey dovey all over them. Wait you already are.” “(Y/n)!” You see Kunimi running to you. Tsukishima was not pleased as he tsked you away. ‘What’s his problem?’ You thought. “Call me if you’re going home. I’ll fetch you.” With that he left and went back to the game. “Ehh!” Everyone was shocked, well except Kageyama. “Ehh.” Hinata shook Kageyama as he was not expecting it. “Let go of me dumbass.” He pried Hinata off. You laughed and left them in shock. You just wanted to tease them more. You guys arrive at the school as you were going to the school’s clinic to have the nurse check it when you see Tsukishima. “Nice game Kei.” You started. He looked at your injured form. “So was it worth the point?” He bluntly asked. “Hmmm. Yeah.” “You’re weird. Giving it all for just a club.” You were not definitely to back down. “I’m not disappointed that I’m injured, but I will be disappointed when we lose and didn’t give my all.” He just stared you. You took a step forward and stumbled lightly. Tsukishima noticed this and was quick to help you. You were fine but you were not expecting him to help you. “Awww deep inside you must really care for me.” You chimed. “Shut up and let’s go.” “Wait you’re going with me?” He looked at you. “Let’s just go.” He went ahead of you but let you catch up. “You can be sweet at times you know.” He was not expecting your praise as he blushed. Tsukishima opened the door for you as you walked in. The nurse checked at your ankle and she was able to give you three days off from school. “I’m so lucky.” You lie on the bed. “Must be fun to be you.” Tsukishima commented. “Come on let me be happy that this injury was a blessing.” Tsukishima was still with you but you didn’t mind it. He kept you company while you were waiting for your brother to get you.—- No one’s POV —-Kunimi walked at the entrance of Karasuno High. He got your text and quickly went to get you after their game. He was noticed by the men’s team. “Kunimi?” Kageyama was able to speak up. “Why are you here!” Hinata shouted while pointing his finger at him. “What are you doing here.” Daichi was not going to have someone spy on them before their game tomorrow. “Kageyama.” In spite of their past he was able to say his name. “Can you show me to the clinic?” This was his option to find you. Kageyama nodded and lead him the way. Though the others are on trail with them.“Why do they have to follow us?” Kunimi was annoyed. “They’re curious about your relationship with (Y/n).” Kunimi sighs.—- Back to your POV —-“Thanks.” You faces Tsukishima. “Why are you thanking for?” He questioned. “Well you stayed with me even though you don’t have to.” Tsukishima just noticed his actions but won’t still admit his feelings towards you. He quickly stand and tried to leave. You noticed this and quickly stand up and try to grab his shirt. But this was a very bad idea indeed. You forgot your injured ankle and went stumbling at him. He was able to act fast and he caught you. You were inches from his face as he bent down to catch you. The door opened and show your brother and Kageyama at it. He has an annoyed face And quickly pried you off Tsukishima. “The hell you’re doing.” Tsukishima didn’t took the action lightly. “What the hell you are doing.” It seems that there is going to be war and you tried to stop it. “Hey Kunimi he just stopped me from falling down.” you face Tsukishima and apologized. “I’m sorry for my brother’s action.” “Brother?” He was taken aback. “Brother?!” You can hear voices behind the door. Hinata was first to enter followed by the others. “Ehhh? You’re related with this guy?” Hinata asked. You can see Kunimi was really irked at his question. “Yup. Please don’t refer hi As this guy he gets annoyed pretty quickly.” “So that’s why Kageyama didn’t react at all.” Sugawara spoke up. “And you didn’t even tell us and you already know we’re curious.” Sugawara has this scary vibe. Kunimi ignored them and took your things. “Let’s go.” Before you can stand up Tsukishims hold you. “Eh?” He began to unzip your jacket. “Wait-“ you were embarrassed by his action. “The hell you’re doing?” Tsukishima tossed his jacket at his face which made him grow angrier by the moment. Then tsukishima tooked out his warmer and put it on you. You were unable to move due to the shock, and seems everyone is too.You could faintly smell his scent and it was kinda soothing. He helped you up and guided you out the clinic. Kunimi followed in suit not pleased with the situation.“What the hell just happened?” Nishinoya was first to break the silence. Yamaguchi was also astounded as he was not able to follow his friend. You were blushing profusely. What the heck did just happened. “Kei?” You were about to question him but he cut you off. He hold you shoulders and kissed you on your forehead. It was a cute gesture but you were expecting it on the lips. Not that you can tell him. “See you.” His last words as he go. Kunimi was definitely angry. “You’re not going to see him.” He said as he gets you both in the taxi and went home. You were still shocked and you pressed your fingers at your forehead. You could still feel his touch and you didn’t know why you couldn’t forget it. Must it be that you like him?Tsukishima was no better situation than you. He kept thinking why he did that, and in front of his teammates and brother too.

Harry Potter Modern!AU| Devil's Triangle Part 4.3To say that she liked Lynn’s cooking was an understatement. Hermione was mightily impressed with her friend’s prowess in the kitchen and a tad bit jealous, if she were to admit it. But either way, she thoroughly enjoyed the variety of dishes. As she bit into the crispy skin of the chicken leg, she moaned in pleasure. “This is really too good, Lynn.”Lynn giggled. “Eat here more often and you’ll put on weight,” she teased.“Draco, you’re lucky to have Lynn cook for you everyday,” Hermione said, her voice slightly muffled by the food in her mouth. She grinned at the man, fully expecting him to agree and voice his contentment. But when he returned her smile, she caught a flicker of anger in his eyes that brought on a chill in her bones.“Today’s dinner is considered special actually.” Draco tossed a side glance at his wife. “Normally we have leftovers or sometimes, she doesn’t even cook.”Hermione noted the undercurrent of tension in his voice and the unpleasant look that Lynn shot him at his remark. She swallowed heavily and quickly reached for the glass of water, downing it in one gulp. Her eyes darted around the table, from Draco’s stern look to Lynn’s dark expression, and then to Tom. She couldn’t see his reaction from across the table given his bowed head. Perhaps fights like this between the couple were common enough to elicit such a response from him.Deadly silence fell over the room like a blanket. Hermione shrank into her seat. Her chest tightened as she recalled the same feeling of being small and invisible in a stifling cold war. Desperate to escape the encroaching walls of nostalgia, she let out an unnatural and shrill laugh.“Maybe I should come over more often then,” she joked in an effort to dispel the heavy atmosphere. It took a second before Lynn recovered her cheery look first. “Yes, you should! We would love to have you over. Wouldn’t we, Draco?”Shooting one last glare at Lynn, Draco turned his attention back to Hermione. He broke into a forced smile. “Yes, we would.”Hermione returned his smile with one of her own, relieved that the silence was broken. Eager to continue conversation, she added, “Looks like Tom will have to see me at school and at home too. Hope you don’t mind, Tom.”The teen barely even looked up at her words and Hermione wondered whether he had fallen asleep at the table. She laughed awkwardly. “I guess he doesn’t mind then.”But Draco certainly minded. He fixed his son in a stern glare and rapped his fist on the table. Tom’s head shot up and his eyes widened upon seeing the look on Draco’s face.“How many times must I tell you?! Put your phone away at the dining table!” Draco hollered as he wagged his finger at the teen.Meeting Hermione’s gaze out of the corner of his eyes, Tom looked away hurriedly. Red splotches colored his cheeks as he glowered at his father. The fury that blazed in his eyes startled Hermione but then again, he inherited that from Draco. Guilty about pulling Tom into the conversation, she hurried to appease the situation. “It’s really okay, Draco. He’s still young-”“That’s no excuse for such behavior,” Draco said sharply. “Especially in front of a guest.”“You don’t need to scold him in front of a guest either,” Lynn cut in, her eyes narrowed at Draco. She reached over to place her hand over Tom’s clenched fist and spoke softly to her son.Hermione couldn’t catch what she said but Tom simmered silently in rage before getting up and leaving the table. She felt bad for the young teen, especially since she had gotten him in trouble. But she felt helpless to do anything. After she watched the teen stalk off to his room, she turned to Lynn with an apologetic look. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to cause trouble.”Lynn squeezed her hand in understanding and broke into a tired smile. “You don’t need to apologize, Hermione. It’s not your fault.”Her lips curving downwards into a snarl, Lynn spat in Draco’s direction. “It’s his.”Draco fumed and his lips parted to hurl accusatory words but when he caught Hermione’s anxious gaze, he took a deep breath. “Let’s… discuss this later, Lynn.”The fight now temporarily halted, Hermione made quick haste to finish the dinner and leave their house. Lynn and Draco never exchanged a word, only speaking and throwing polite glances to Hermione until she left. Once she was out the door, Hermione heaved a sigh of relief. She had no doubt they would continue their heated conversation right now but she thanked God she wasn’t there to hear it. As she walked the short distance to her car, she reflected on the disastrous night. It had started off so well with Lynn and Draco - separately, she noted. But cracks had formed in their relationship and it had obviously taken a toll on their son too. Tom had always seemed like a docile kid to her but the intensity of his glare tonight had shown that he could be volatile too. It scared her, and it intrigued her as well. Much like how Draco’s rebellious attitude had attracted her to him. Catching herself before her old feelings took over, she reminded herself that her best friend was married to him and that their marriage was on the rocks. She was worried for Lynn and for Draco. As a friend, she should try to help them or at least, offer some comfort.Yet deep down and buried in her heart, was a niggling feeling of happiness. A gleeful delight that the breaking marriage might present an opportunity for her.Was it wrong of her to fantasize about that?

The Place Beyond the Pines [2p America x reader] 2Rating: M for adult and ideologically sensitive themes. Mature audiences only.Chapter synopsis: Allen runs into you and Alfred on the way to church. He lingers around during the ceremony and realizes how out of touch he is with everything. While he tears through the woods on his bike, lost and aggrieved, he meets a new co-worker and potential accomplice. Money comes slowly at their repair shop, and he's desperate to support you. A/N: Disclaimer: This is a crossover with the film, "The Place Beyond the Pines". Religious implications apply as reflective of the original work's symbolism. Feel free to skip those parts if you wish. You've been up since six when Jason woke up. Alfred got out of bed two hours later. Trotting down the stairs with the messiest bedhead of the century, he gave a loud yawn before blinking his vision back. His shirt was hiked up while he scratched his stomach. "Mornin'." There you were by the dining table, making some baby formula in a bottle. Seeing you so dolled up to boot was a fine reminder he barely got started. "Don't you look pretty? C'mere."Sparing the man a brief glance, you offered a smile of your own when he walked over and pressed a kiss to your cheek. "I hope you didn't forget what day it is today." You began, returning your attention to the child in your arms. "And don't say Sunday." He reared his head back. That was his first guess."... Er... Church. Right." He placed his hands on his hips when he caught your expectant look. Then it hit him. "Shoot. Jason's getting bapped today. I... Totally didn't forget." Marching into the kitchen, he pulled out his mug before grinning at you over his shoulder."I just haven't had my morning coffee yet."You laughed through a slight frown. "Whatever you say. Sleep has you in a chokehold."He shrugged, pouring a piping hot stream of water into his cup. "And I love it." Now that Jason had something to eat, he had completely calmed down. If only Alfred wasn't such a heavy sleeper. Otherwise, he'd be just as bothered about his crying during the ungodly hours of the day. Even with his back turned, he could feel your scorching gaze burn right through him. "I'll take care of the bub today. Don't worry.""You better. I've been dying for some alone time."The last thing either of you expected was a third contender for a parent. In the last twenty minutes before ten, somebody knocked on your door. The whole house was already frantic to hit the road, so the thought of having a visitor made you all the more nervous. When you answered the door, shock staved away your agitation. On the porch stood Allen himself, though he should've been out of town by now."Al, hey. What are you still doing here?" You closed the flyscreen behind. The man had changed out of his band tee for something more basic. A white shirt that was inside-out. It went without saying you were glad to see him, but this had to be the worst time for him to show up. "What’s wrong?" Allen reached out to hold onto your arms loosely. He managed a lopsided grin, but it was a tired one all the same. "I stuck around. I was just gonna take the little guy to the park or something." You shook your head subtly, unwilling. It was endlessly touching what he was doing, but you couldn’t humor his kindness. He flattened his lips. Not that his determination was swayed. "If not, maybe sit on the porch. Just say hi to him.""Sorry, uh, now's not a good time. We're on our way to church. Um—" The flyscreen swung open."You're on your way to church?" Allen questioned. You glanced behind briefly just for Alfred to appear with Jason in his arms. Allen looked up at him. "—This is Alfred." You gestured with a hand. Just as you put it, now really wasn’t a good time. Because immediately, they stared each other down and shared one singular thought. Who the hell is this guy? Why does he look just like me? Frankly, this wasn't how you imagined them to meet. Hell, you never thought they'd meet at all.Alfred beckoned you to leave with an upwards tilt of his chin. If this was who he thought he was, then he needed a moment alone with him. "We need to go, babe. Get to the car." After handing you the kid, he returned his discerning gaze to Allen. He never separated his lips to say anything. Not before you left. "You should call next time, Al. You can't just show up." With that said, you trotted down the porch with your mother. Allen managed a wave and stayed put. He kept his head turned your way to see you off. Now that you were gone, Alfred could talk to the newcomer without your scrutiny. What did you call him, Al? To think they could've had the same nickname irked him even more.Looking like doppelgängers was bad enough. He locked the door. "Let me guess, Allen?"The said man reared his head back. "That's my name. You live here?"Alfred folded his arms. "Yeah. This is my house. How long are you in town for?" Seems like they didn't need to make it explicit. They were on the same page already. The redhead leaned down to light the end of a cigarette. Then, he glanced up nonchalantly. "I'm gonna stick around." Clearly, Alfred didn't take that well. He didn't need to say it for the other to get the message. With a face full of scorn, he scanned Allen's expression before getting off the porch. Allen scoffed as if to say, okay, tough guy. I'm not afraid of you. In fact, he'd translate it into words."What are you looking at?"The blonde rose a brow at him as he made it to the yard. "Are you seriously gonna do this shit today?"Allen nibbled on his cigarette. "Do what?"On the other side of the road, the whole family got inside a car. Alfred was the last to get in. He managed one last glower at the man on his porch. Who did he think he was, showing up out of the blue like this? He had no right. But as intimidating as he wanted to be, it wasn't enough to send him away.Just when the ceremony started, Allen found himself at the back of the hall as a spectator. The church had the highest ceilings he'd ever seen, pure and white like a grand castle. The organ and its surroundings were decorated with more candles than he could count. Faith wasn’t something he gave much thought about, but what he saw turned him religious for a second. It was heaven on Earth, this place. And he was at the gates, catching a glimpse of something he could never fathom.Alfred and you were in front of the altar, smiling away like a picture-perfect nuclear family. Jason, his own son, was being held by the man who replaced him. It left a numbing ache in his chest to witness, but that was it. All he could do was stand and watch. While he did, the only thing he could think about was this—you looked so happy without him."Jason I baptize you in the name of the father... and of the Son and of the holy spirit... This child of yours has been enlightened by Christ."While the priest continued the baptism, filling the hall with the echo of his voice, he lingered in the backdrop, alienated and out of the picture. Out of all the guests attending mass, he was the most underdressed. His short-sleeve T-shirt was littered with holes. But it didn't matter when he stood this far back. Nobody could see him.Nobody even knew he was there."God, the father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, has freed you from sin."Allen glanced around briefly before taking a seat in one of the pews. He was by himself. While he got comfortable, he never tore his gaze off the platform. Alfred's gaze on you was so fond, it was like staring into a mirror. But the reflection wasn't him.As the priest's voice droned off in sync with the audience, his eyes fell downcast. He never felt so alone."... Forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil."Allen's head trembled ever so subtly as his senses were drowned by despair. Soon, the first few tears fell from his eyes. Afterward, they never stopped. He didn't belong here at all. And you, well, you moved on from him to a better place. But he was still the same, lost, penniless, and without a place in the world. An engine revved violently as a bike sped through the uneven dirt path. Even with his rapidly blurring vision, he never slowed down. He'd stopped crying for a while now. The rage just never left. It kept coming back to haunt him. As he tore through rolling hills inside the dense woods, foliage passed by as nothing but blotches of lime green. It was a sure-fire sign he was going too fast for his own good. But it was all part of the thrill. After a few more minutes of drifting through the stick-strewn trails, he arrived at the edge of the forest. Slowing down until he could get off his bike, he stared out into the clearing. Down there parked a truck with an open trunk. Behind that was a man seated on the back of a bright blue quad bike.Little did Allen know, he'd been followed by him the whole time. He was just too distracted to notice another rumble of an engine. The stranger waved. "You ride that thing really good! Really good. The best I've ever seen!" He shouted, loading his vehicle into the boot. Then, he got into the driver's seat to move closer. With an inviting wave, he beckoned Allen over. It seemed like his luck was finally taking a turn. Unbeknownst to him, this was only the beginning of his lucky break."You want a ride into town? It'll save you some gas, man."His name was Robin, he'd said. Ran a repair shop on Washout road. When Allen revealed he didn't have a job, he was happy to offer him one. After all, Allen was something of a greaser himself. With moves like that and his good muscle, he was too fine of an apprentice to pass up. And he was right. The former motorcycle stuntman knew his way around an engine. Who could've thought?A few weeks went by, living and working out of a trailer and garage.Money was finally coming, but only slowly. There wasn't much work to do around here, so Allen tried visiting you whenever he could. He learned not to knock on your door anymore, though. So there he sat on the back of his bike, parked on the other side of his road. On the better nights, he could see you through the window on the second floor. Sometimes, you were by yourself. Sometimes, you were with Alfred. But you were never without Jason. It didn't feel right, seeing the kid doted on by a man that wasn't him. He was finally growing out some hair too, and it was the same shade of red as his. Jason also had his eyes. While he watched on in yearning, wishing he was there, he began to wonder to himself what went wrong. And what he could do to make things right."Look, Rob. I don't wanna be ungrateful. I really appreciate what you're doing for me and shit, but I gotta make more money." Allen explained, earning a subtle nod from the other. Robin walked over to the man to sit beside him, but not without a slight limp. He was well into his fifties, so it wasn't very deserving of his attention."Hey, man, if I could pay you more, I would. You know, you're good at what you do, man. Really good." He mused, brushing back his shaggy brown bangs. They'd found a nice spot by a creek in the woods for a smoke break. While Allen was dressed in a navy blue mechanic's uniform, he went for something more casual. Jeans and a flannel."I could fix that ol' Mack truck that's sitting there like a goddamn--""--Well, that's great. You can go ahead and fix it up, but I don't got the money to pay ya." Allen took a deep inhale of his cigarette. It was worth asking about, at least. "But you know, there are other things that could be done, you know.""Like what?"Robin shrugged. "Well, you could rob a bank."Allen turned away with a snort. "You're full of shit.""I'm not full of shit." The redhead returned his discerning gaze to the man. Much to his surprise, he looked dead serious. "I've done it four times myself. I stopped twelve years ago because it was getting too hot. As long as you don't do it too many times, you're fine." Allen listened intently while silver wisps of smoke curled around them. What he heard next, however, struck a chord within him."You got a kid, you wanna provide for that kid? You wanna maybe edge out your competition?" Alfred popped into his mind, followed by you and Jason. If only Alfred was out of the picture. He'd be the happiest man alive if he could just go back to how things used to be. Except this time, there would be a baby on board. But Allen wasn't complaining. This could be his family. You could be his girl."You gotta do that using your skillset. And your skillset..." Robin clicked his tongue and waved his cigarette around for emphasis. "Very unique. What do you say?"Allen stared for a few moments before turning away. As desperate as he was for cash, he couldn't just rob a bank. "Go fuck yourself."Robin pursed his lips. "Okay. Well, good luck supporting your family on minimum wage."That was one thing he could agree on. He had no idea how he was gonna do it, but he wanted to be there for you. He wasn't around when you needed him most, and he wasn't making the same mistake again. That evening, he showed up to your work and sat by the counter. Business was slow with the diner mostly empty, so you could stick around for a chat."He's my son, and I should be around him." Allen began, keeping his head low as he spoke. "I wasn't around my dad. Look at the fucking way I turned out." You listened intently, keeping yourself quiet for the most part. He glanced up. Behind his striking scarlet eyes was an unwavering conviction you couldn't help admiring. He was a dedicated person; you knew that much. So it broke your heart to see him so devoted to something in vain."Look, I wanna take care of you. I wanna take care of my son. That's my job." He shook his head subtly as he continued. There was clear desperation in his voice and in the way he stared at you. "Let me do my job."You softened your gaze. What he wanted was impossible, but that didn't mean you wouldn't do the least of humoring him on it."How are you gonna take care of us?"Allen narrowed his eyes, almost in disgust. In the end, it was only disgust for himself. "Don't say it like that.""But how are you gonna take care of me?"He hung his head to shake it again. "Don't... Don't talk down to me." His chest tightened as he let the words out. He wanted you to depend on him. If there was one thing he could be in his life, it was your equal. But the more he lingered on his pain, the clearer it became to him how hard that would be. This feeling manifested in his face of anguish, and you were quick to notice."It's a question, baby. I'm not talking down to you." You squeezed his shoulder, unable to contain your own anguish. "It's just a question."Allen finally lifted his gaze to you. The distress from a moment ago was staved off by deep thought. "I'll... I'll find a way to do it," He muttered. "You want a house, I'll get you a house. If you wanna get the fuck out of here, we'll get out of here." He pointed behind him with a thumb. "I got that trailer. I'll get a truck, we'll hit the road. You pick a place you like, we'll stop. You don't wanna be there? 'Fuck you', we're outta there."You folded your arms across the counter to lean in with a sigh."What about my mom?"He nodded. "She can come.""What about Alfred?""He can stay."You shook your head, unwilling. Already, this sounded like a dream. Eventually, Allen wouldn't handle having him around. But Alfred? He wouldn't stand the sight of him. "Sounds like a nice dream. Go home, Al." With that said, you cast him one last forlorn glance before walking off. If only things could be that simple. But life was never simple. Things always changed, and Allen had to change too. "(F/N)--" He spun around to face you, but to no avail. You were back to working again. So he clenched his fists and sighed. "Goddammit." Then, he dug through his pockets for the last of his money. Flicking through a few notes, he set that down on the countertop before leaving. He was back on his bike, waiting at the traffic lights. Night had fallen over Schenectady. His face was lit up by bright red neon, but that changed to green when he caught sight of the building opposite. TrustCo bank. Allen never really considered what Robin proposed to him, but he was running low on options. And after seeing how you looked at him, he was never this desperate.

I mean I haven’t been in school for over a year” (Name) said very nervous, while fixing his tie for the eighteens time that morning.“Don’t worry, you will be fine,” Haruhi said as she took his hand and walked outside “besides you were the smartest person on the whole school, there’s no doubt you will do great”Time Skip (Name)'s Pov:“Now can you guess which one is Hikaru?” The twins said in unison,“Do I have to play this game?” I asked while fidgeting in the seat that they had placed me in earlier. You know it is quite a funny story about how I ended in this situation, it went a little something like this.FlashbackWe were currently having a lesson in history, meaning I was writing down notes while reading and listening to everything the teacher said so I know I had all the right information, with me writing, I didn’t realize that Hikaru was trying to get in contact with me, I only felt the slight pokes but never really reacting to them until after class had ended. “I can’t believe that you didn’t react at all to any of my pokings and I was really trying too,” Hikaru said as we were walking down the hall towards the host club. “I’m sorry Hikaru, I really didn’t mean to ignore you,” I said as we reached the door.“Well for the fact that you ignored me, you now have to play a game with us,” He said as he and Karou wrapped an arm around each other. “Okay, I… guess that’s the least I can do,” I said messing with the too-long sleeve of the Ouran sweater that I was wearing. The twins just smirk before looking at each other, making very nervous about what they were planning. “But if you lose the game you are going to do something for us,” Karou said.To be honest you are going to do it anyway” Hikaru said as we all walked into the club room ‘Then what’s the point of the game, if I have to do ‘it’ anyway?’ I questioned in my mind, well knowing the twins would just give me useless respond anyway.Flashback endsAlright, maybe it isn’t a funny story, but at least it explains how I got here, to begin with. Well… can you tell which one is Hikaru?” the Twins asked again together. “Of course I can, you’re Hikaru,” I said before standing up before pulling off his hat showing his hair, that was parted to his left, before pulling of Karou as well” and when Karou, I’m a twin as well, we get used to seeing the smallest thing that defines us, it’s what makes us unique” The twins just stared at us, before smiling, unlike their usual smirk. “Well, either way, you are still going to play with us,” Hikaru said. Time SkipAnd I guess that explains how I got myself into this mess “Um… guys? Are you two sure this is a good idea?” I asked as I was standing perfectly still as they were both adjusting the dress that I was wearing. “Of course, of course,” They both said taking their hands off my body, which was a huge relief for me as they just have been roaming for the last 10 minutes.“But wouldn’t it have been better is a woman was wearing this?” I asked looking into the mirror in front of me. The thing that the twins wanted me to do was pose as a model for their mother’s recently released designs. Apparently, they had been allowed to pick the model and thought that I was perfect for the role. “Absolutely not, you have all of the needed accents that we need to present this dress in the best way,” Hikaru said tucking my hair behind my ear before secure it with a pretty decorative pin. I was almost convinced that I was a good choice when the doors were flung open, revealing a very beautiful woman with striking color on her lips, her eyes landed on me immediately, a big grin broke out on her face as she put her hands on my cheeks. “Perfect! absolutely perfect, pictures! Pictures! Come, deary, we have to get the cameras ready!” She called out with excitement, took hold of Hikaru and dragged him out of the room, she had come on gone before I could even react. So now it was just Karou and me in the room, I was just shyly rubbing my arm.“I-I guess… I have to get going now, you know, the shoot…” I said slowly walking to the door. Before I reached it I was grabbed and turned around before a pair of lips where placed on my own, my eyes widened as I was in pure shook from the kiss that Karou was giving me, he slowly pulled away before opening as he must have closed them for the kiss, with his eyes now open I could see a glimpse of mischief and a smirk on his face. “I guess I came first” I could hear him whisper, ‘what in the world does he mean first?’“Good luck” “he said before pushing me out of the room and closing the door behind me. I glanced back at the door before making my way to the garden as that was where the shoot would take place. I hot outside and there were all of the people who were helping with the photoshoot, Hikaru walked up to me, he smiled at me, he gave me a devilish smirk before giving me a peck on the lips. “I can see Karou get to you first, you lip gloss is mostly gone,” Hikaru said as he pulled away, he then took a lip gloss out of his pocket before lightly taking a hold of my chin and started to apply the shining gloss to my lips as I just stared at him my face cherry red, I didn’t know what to do, both of the Twins had now kissed me, and both seem to know something about it. He put the gloss back in his pocket” we’ll talk after the shoot” I nodded and walked towards the crew while hearing good luck from behind me.Time SkipThe shoot had finished and I was sitting in the dressing room from when I had to change, I was currently trying to get the makeup off of my face, I was thinking about the kisses the twins had given me, it had distracted me throughout the entire photoshoot and I started to feel nervous, the doors opened and I froze as I heard them close, I started to internally panic as two pairs of arms wrapped around my shoulders and soft breathing by my ears. “Finally” I heard Hikaru whispered into my ear.“We’re alone,” Karou said just as quiet as Hikaru before nipping on my ear making me, shriek and slightly jump in my seat, before I began shaking around my arms, pushing them both away. “Huh?” “What’s wrong?” Hikaru asked.I turned around to look at them before I sighed and looked down on the floor. “I don’t understand…You are both acting strange today… and it’s like you two don’t even realize it, you both kissed me today… you are making me so confused, and I don’t want to be a part of this joke!” I said standing up and picked up my bag, making my move to leave the room. I was by the door then the twins stopped me.“We are nor joking,” both said. “What?” I was even more confused than before” But… I don’t...Understand…”They both just pulled me closer to them.“We both like you,” Karou said.“Like a lot,” Hikaru said.“And we realized we didn’t want to lose to each other” Hikaru said.“And we know you would hate us if we fought for you, so we risk losing you either” Karou continued.“So we decided to share,” they both said. Smiling as they turned me so I could see their face, which had smiles on their lips.“Of course only if you are okay with it,” “Hikaru said with a bit of a worried look.“... you are both idiots… and yet you’re right, I wouldn’t be able to choose between you two, cause I like you both… but this type of relationship is… it’s taboo” I said closing my eyes and placing my head in the room between theirs letting me rest on their shoulders. “Yeah, but we at least want to try,” Karou said. “If you’ll let us,” Hikaru said and I could hear a small chuckle from him. “We are going to hell for this… but I can’t refuse an offer that this,” I said smiling to myself as I felt them both kiss my head. Time SkipI let out a yawn while straightening out my arms above my head, before I pulled away because hair was tickling my nose, I opened my eyes to see the orange hair of my lover, who just chuckled and pulled me closer which I just hugged back before I realized that only one pair of arms were around me, so I looked behind me and didn’t see anybody. “Where’s Hikaru?” I asked nesting myself in Karou's neck to avoid the light coming through the blinds. “He went to work after he was called in for an emergency,” Karou said kissing the side of my head, as his hands ran up and down my sides.“Hmmm… I hope everything's okay.” I said.“He was pissed when he left, we were all supposed to be off today,” Karou said. “We should go visit later,” I said. “No need, I’m home,” Hikaru said as he walked into the room, throw his clothes off before crawling back into bed and wrapped his arms around me, nuzzling himself into the back of my neck, resulting in me giggling as his hair was tickling me. “This is the start of the best day ever,” I said relaxing against the two people that I love.

Dragon Flame | Sabo X Reader - Chapter 1
Hi, lovelies! Please do comment on this and let me know if I should continue it here on DA. I will still publish it on both Wattpad / Quotev should it not be popular Thank you! The sunshine tore through the thick clouds that shadowed over the huge Kingdom of Dressrosa, bringing light and hope back into the once war-ravaged field. It felt like months since they last saw a sun that does not indicate the start of a new day of battle. There was only one person standing in the middle of the blood-soaked battlefield as she took deep breaths, clinging onto the last few moments of her life. Sparks of glowing aether of multiple colours surrounded her, providing her with their own source of life to preserve hers. Though weak, she tried to reach her hand towards the sun, getting energy through its light and it was at that moment a sharp pain stabbed her heart as blood spurted from her lip. Her vision now red and bloody, blurred and vacillated, her body stumbled as she quickly threw her glance towards the ground and tried to balance, letting the blood from her eyes dripped onto the ground."...It's over..."Her smiled slowly bloomed, the image of her late lover flashed past her eyes; he held his hand out as if reaching for her. His smile ever radiant, his voice so soothing, "come," she could hear him. "Rosinante..."A huge shadow quickly covered the entire frontier and soon, the entire combat zone. It swiftly dove down low and quickly transformed into a blonde hair male in blue. He dashed towards the frail female and swooped the girl into his arms. "No! Hang on, (name)! Don't you dare fucking die on me!" He shouted before transforming back into a dragon and flew off towards the Ozaedian Empire.~A white dove flew through the stone window and landed on top of the Adam wood desk. Sabo patted its head softly with his index before untying the white letter and read it."It is in both your and our best interest to return (Last name) D. Eisyrth (Name) back to the Kingdom of Dressrosa. She is a dangerous person that should never leave our territory. We expect (name) to be by the gates in 10 days' time. War is not an ideal situation for you, I would assume."Sabo growled and crashed the piece of parchment, knowing who wrote this; Doflamingo Donquixote, the King of Dressrosa. The older brother of Rosinante Donquixote, the late betrothed of (name), who was brutally murdered by Doflamingo himself for the throne."Filthy human!" Sabo roared, scales growing around his eyes in anger; he was trying his best to not let his dragon form take over. A knock echoed on his bedroom's door and he barked out loud, asking who had the audacity to disturb him."My apology your highness! Miss (last name) has woken up from her coma!" A maid announced, and Sabo scrambled to fling opened the door. "She's awake!?""Yes! Please hurry along, she's feeling rather upset!" The maid continued before guiding the prince over to the resting room of yours. Once in front of your room, the maid cautiously opened the door, seemingly afraid. Once it was safe and quiet, the maid bravely opened it and allow the blonde to enter."(name)...?" He called out softly as he took in your form. Your eyes and neck were bandaged up, and you were dressed in a simple white nightgown as you sat upright on your bed. The translucent curtain on your canopy created a majestic illusion around you like you were an outwardly being. He looked around your room and noticed broken vases with scattered silk hydrangea and baby breath, sacred books torn and strewn around your bed."(name)...? Are you feeling better?" Sabo asked carefully, unable to detect what state of mind you were in. It has been a week since you were in a deep coma and since then he had locked himself in his own room or office, unable to face you. His brothers updated about you to him once in a while and had urged him to see you himself, but he was too guilt-ridden to face you."Who are you...? Where am I...? Where is my beloved Rosinante!?!?" You cried out, your hands formed a fist and it began to glow a bright blue and Sabo felt the energy from it; sadness, fear, defensive. You were scared and he wanted to assure you."Hey... Hey... Don't be scared," Sabo coaxed and took slow steps towards you. "My name is Sabo and you're back in Ozaedian Empire, in the capital, the palace," Sabo said and slowly sat next to you. You lifted your clenched fists, trying to defend yourself. Sabo took a slow deep breath and tried to orchestrate your breathing to follow his, trying to calm you down to the best of his abilities."B-Back...?"You were oddly at ease with this man around, almost nostalgic to hear his voice, you felt a tugging feeling in your heart as if a distant memory trying to come back. "You are safe here, so don't be frightened. Do you remember anything?" Sabo continued, trying to avoid having you think about your injuries."N-No... I can't remember anything...! I can't even remember my name!!" You screamed, realising how voided you felt upon his question, gripping your hair, and pulled it. Sabo immediately activated his dragon power and blew softly into your face, his breath was golden and calming and once it hit your face, you began to relax and slowly wobbled. Sabo delicately held your wrists and brought it down. He took out his handkerchief and began to dab it lightly on your palms, cleaning the crimson blood away."Calm down... Let me help you. Your name is (name). (Last name). D. Eisyrth (name). You are a powerful mage, from a noble family, your father holds the title of Duke.""(name)... A duke...?" You repeated, trying your best to associate that name to yourself."You called for a man by the name of Rosinante, do you remember him?" Sabo continued, and you dug your brain trying to figure it out."Somewhat... It just came out from me, I don't know..." You bit your lips, your mind was blank and your heart heavy, you felt a huge part of you missing, as if it was died and weighing you down. The maid entered the room you resided and began to dress your wounds whilst Sabo stood aside, his arms crossed and face crestfallen."Your Holiness, please refrain from hurting yourself. Your Aether level is now low, and your recovery speed is reduced drastically." The maid informed before bowing and leaving the room. Sabo walked up to you once again and sat down. "It might take time for your memories to come back so for the time being, please rest up. Your family will be able to visit you soon once they return from their fief so be patient.""My family?""Yes, the Duke and Duchess will be returning back to the capital soon. So please rest up. Even if you don't recall anything, just remember that we care for you and want you to be happy and healthy," Sabo said, "we will visit you soon again."~It has been five days since then. Every other hour there would be someone who visited you and soon you came to memorise their names; Ace and Luffy. They were hyper and always joyful, and they definitely cheered you up. Sabo came over once over the course of five days, but he stayed for a mere 20 minutes, mostly asking you how you were and kept reassuring you that you were safe within the palace. You slowly grew closer to the duo of brothers as they spoke to you and you began to open up to them, and more and more snippets of your past memories started to come back. You came to found out and slightly remembered that at the age of 15, you were betrothed to the 27 years old Rosinante, the Crown Prince of Dressrosa but his older, power-hungry brother manipulated the court to plan to overthrow your beloved fiancé and within two years, the country was split into two and with the assassination of the Crowne Prince, your life was in danger. Doflamingo wanted to make you his queen and change you into a mindless doll, using your powers to overtake one country at a time. Dressrosa cut off all communication with the other countries and Sabo and his brother was unable to get a hold on you. Afraid of dragging you into a war, the brothers tried to send in intelligent agents to spy to avoid conflict with the tyrannic Doflamingo. However, when they found out what happened, it was already too late. At 18, you tried to run away and Doflamingo sent out his army to capture you, and you fought to the very end, killing every single soldier until Sabo came in to save you.Today, it was Ace's turn to visit. He donned his cheery smile and waltzed in with a giant bouquet of flowers of distinct colours and species. "Good morning, you little ball of sunshine! How are you feeling?""You are... Prince Ace!" You greeted, about to get off of the bed to curtsy to the prince but he quickly stopped you and helped you back to your bed. "Don't bow to me!" Ace reminded you before he presented you the flowers. "Luffy, Sabo and I got these for you!" You chuckled at his enthusiastic tone before pointing to your eyes that were still bandaged up – you had already accepted that you won't be able to see for a long time. You felt the uneasy tension forming around Ace, but you laughed it off on his behalf."Prince Ace, please do not feel bad about it. I trust you and everyone else to find me the best doctor or priest out there to cure me." You reassured and Ace smiled. "You know, your personality was what I really missed all these years, with you away...""I'm back now, aren't I?" You smiled. You knew what happened, happened and nothing could change. Your lover would never come back, your 2 years would never rewind, your innocence tainted, your precious memories might not even return but you accepted it and moved on. There was not much you could do, there was no known power or spell in the world to rewind time and change history."We are so glad to have you back!" Ace gave you a hug and at the same time, Luffy entered your room."Hey (name)! Let's head for lunch together! You've been cooped up in here for so long!" Luffy insisted and Ace immediately let go of you to hit Luffy upside the head."You idiot! She's still recovering!""Why not?" A third voice said and stood behind Luffy."See? Even Sabo agrees!" Luffy defended and came over to your side. You chuckled at the brothers before you held your hand out, asking to be escorted to the dining room but Sabo placed your hand down and carried you instead, and you let out an embarrassed yelp and your arms instinctively wrapped around Sabo; you were still not used to moving around without your sight."Come on, let's go already!" Luffy called and ran out of your room, Ace smacked his face loudly and groaned, commenting that he wished just for a one day that Luffy would be quieter especially around a patient. Sabo chuckled at his brothers and carried you out."P-Prince Sabo please let me walk on my own! I can't possibly let a royalty carry me like this!""It's fine, it's fine! We can't let you walk, now can we?" Ace said as Sabo laughed quietly. "We're childhood friends, don't mind, don't mind!" Ace assured before racing to the dining room."Sorry I haven't visited recently," Sabo started, and you slightly shake your head."I heard from Ace, you were doing your best against Dressrosa, haven't you?" You smiled towards Sabo and though you could not see his face, you felt the temperature around him rose. You could not help but chuckle, reaching your hands up towards him."I remembered... Your blonde hair... And bright eyes... I wonder just how much you've grown since then..." You heard a small grunt escaped as Sabo came to a sudden stop, his hands tightened its grip around you."S-Sorry, I didn't mean to-""You can't do this to my heart, it's not fair!""E-Eh?""Hey, Sabo!! We're waiting for you!! And Tra-guy is back!" A distant call from Luffy prompted Sabo to walk again. You were left wondering how he looked like now, what face was he making and what was he thinking?"Tra-guy? Who is that?""Ah, that's your older brother. I guess he's joining us for lunch as well, we'll get to see your parents too in that case." Sabo replied, a hint of excitement in his tone. Your heart started beating fast, it has been three years since you had seen your family and now that you were temporarily blinded, you still could not see them. You felt the air around you changed, it was more refine and quiet."D-Dad..." Sabo noticed and quickly helped you sat though you were not sure which seat you were in, you could feel the stares you were feeling from both sides."Oh, my baby girl!" A male voice called out and pulled you into a hug."F-Father-sama!?" Another male voice called out and a deep voice bellowed in laughter. You remembered those voice, it was your father, and your older brother, followed by the current Emperor – Dragon."How could that bastard of a flamingo do this to you! I'll avenge you!""Honey, calm down, you're in the presence of the Emperor..." Your mother reminded."It's fine, it's fine. I can understand his actions. Besides, I can't agree more. Doflamingo has gone too far for blinding my goddaughter and wanting to use her as a weapon for world domination. Duke Trafalgar, I apologise for putting her in this position.""No, your majesty. We were more than honoured to have Rosinante wed (name), but to think Doflamingo..." Your mother sighed. The three princes slammed their fist against the dining table, causing you to jump."Oi!" Your brother, Law, scolded. "Are you planning on giving my sister a heart attack!?""S-Sorry," Ace apologised though you waved it off with a laugh. "Luffy must be hungry by now," you reminded and held your hand to call for lunch to commence. Throughout the meal session, you had a maid assist you to eat all the while as you fawn over the delicious meal you were fed.You did your best to uplift the mood, sensing how everyone was worried about you. Your inability to see posed a huge problem to your everyday task, making you seemed even more delicate than before you were sent to Dressrosa. You had fuzzy memories of your past, but you knew you were a rather energetic girl who was unafraid to stand up for what was right and what you believed in."(name)-nee-sama, since lunch is over, I have something to present to you!" You little sister, Lami stated as the door opened."Oh, yes! Our fief discovered an unbelievably valuable mineral that has a luminous glow about seven months ago, as reported. It's extremely valuable and it has been profiting our area, and trade on it has increased with the other fiefs as well as the capital." Your father explained as your family butler stood by your side and slipped a bracelet onto your right wrist. You could sense the energy from the bracelet, it must have some sort of energy that helped generate power. You smiled inwardly, it might help power up the empire overall."It makes beautiful accessories and is popular with the noble ladies." Your mother continued before sending in more accessories for the princes and emperor."We've been trying to market to noblemen, and we figured cufflinks would be a nice start.""Wow, these look so cool! They're glowing under the sun!""It's glistening, not glowing, you idiot." Ace pointed to Luffy as Sabo did his best to hold in his laugh. Law sighed and groaned as your parents laughed alongside your little sister. You felt the warmth, a familiar scene replayed in your head. It was when you were younger when Lami was just born."Ah... So my family is close to the royal family..."A warm hand reached over to your hand and clasped over it, it was sentimental and something you had missed for so long. "I'm glad that you are back, (name)-ya.""I'm happy to be home too, Law."

Shingeki no Kyojin Attack on Titan
Old Nightmares [Titan!Eren/Reader]Home in Your Hands: Old NightmaresSummary: Recently saved from your abandoned district of Quinta after the fall of Wall Maria, you and a strange titan named Eren try to find a place to call home for the both of you. Unfortunately when he leaves you alone to search the local land of a farmhouse, you realize that you never really left Quinta entirely behind--and some of that trauma is still fresh and crimson. You can read the entire series on AO3 here! | Follow my Attack on Titan writing blog on tumblr-He was only gone for a minute.Just a minute.Perhaps not even long enough for you to take in the sight of the entire valley from atop the decrepit roof he left you to wait upon. After all, it’s not as if you felt wholly unsafe from where you stood—two stories up, solid, and you couldn’t even recall seeing another titan since the previous morning. For all intents and purposes, you were as safe where you stood on someone’s forgotten house as you had been in the palm of your impromptu-guardian’s hand. There didn’t seem to be a single reason for you to be worried when he left you there, promising with an nonverbal purr that he would return; over the last few months, you’d learned how to interpret the strange titan’s form of communication. Though rudimentary, he seemed intelligent enough to understand the tactical advantage of scouting ahead, especially without you atop his shoulder to attract the attention of any other titans he might have otherwise come across in the local area. And that was how he’d left you this time, safe enough from harm’s way with enough height from the ground that you couldn’t be easily grabbed or ambushed by anything less than a titan of equal or greater height—and those were somewhat rare in the western provinces. Most of them had long-since traveled farther inward, towards Wall Rose—a boon for you if nothing else.Perhaps your boots were more worn than you realized. Perhaps the shingles lining the rooftop had deteriorated. Perhaps the recent rain had left the surface slick, or perhaps—It didn’t matter.By the time your mind could catch up with the rush of motion, your feet had already slipped out from beneath you. And as they slipped, so did everything else follow. You tumbled down, the shingles slipping out and falling apart from the decrepit roof like a line of dominos, carrying you with them as they tumble off the side of the roof and down to the unforgiving earth below.Only you don’t fall to solid earth. Instead, after feeling a brief instance of open air and weightless feeling of freefall through your adrenaline-filled body, a soft warmth is what meets you instead. While it dampens the fall enough that you’re not immediately aware of shattered bones, the impact yet echoes painfully through your entire form. Tumbling head-over-heel, you eventually roll to a stop.Awareness slowly returns, muffled by the shock. Then your eyes open, and the pain starts to fade into existence enough to feel it proper.“Fuck,” you mutter, blinking dirt out of your eyes as you try to take a quick stock of your situation and injuries. Bruises and scrapes, but you get to your feet well enough—so no broken legs.It wasn’t the first time you’d fallen from such a height, but all the previous times had been planned for and in extremely dire circumstances. This time, it’s due to your own stupidity and short-sightedness, forgetting the simplest facts of survival as simply making sure to watch where you stepped.Could never be sure what buildings would hold up when they’d been neglected for so many years. You are lucky that the fall had been broken, or else you’d—Wait. What broke your fall?A surge of horror suddenly fills your mind and body as the attention shifts from idle thoughts to the cold, sharp moment in front of you. And when you lift your eyes up towards the building you’d just fallen from, the answer to your question stares straight back at you with wide, hollow eyes, and a half-opened jaw of bloodstained teeth.No.The titan had been small enough, idle enough to be missed within the overgrown bushes working up the side of the farmhouse, but big enough that its body had broken your fall. And now, awoken from its trance, the beast gazed upon you with a vacant look of hunger, the same that had haunted your nightmares ever since you’d been freed from Quinta’s walls. All of your cadet training felt so distant. Useless. Even then, all you had was a half-broken ODM set with almost no gas and your blades long-since broken and rusted away. The beast tilts its head at you, as if to confirm that you were standing there, bruised and battered but still very much alive—a meal all but served up. It takes a step, feet dragging against the dirt that only served to hammer the feeling of terror even farther into your chest.No.It takes another step. Then another. And then you snap out of it, pulling your thoughts from old nightmares and back into keeping your present self as alive as physically possible. Of course, the first instinct is to reach for the trigger handles at your hips—while you didn’t have very much gas to use, it was certainly enough to make a quick getaway. That’s why you had kept them, after all, despite the fact that you had no way nor reason anymore to actively try to take out a titan.Survival over glory, after all.But it isn’t until you aim the hook and squeeze your finger over the trigger that your heartbeat finally goes silent.Click.You squeeze it again, and again, and again. Each time there is an audible click from the equipment, but nothing more. No hook shooting out, no sudden pull on your body to move you away from certain death. No sudden feeling of relief.NO.“N-” you can barely get a word from between your lips at first, shaking as they are, fluttering as quick as your heartbeat. “No! No no no don’t jam on me now!”It didn’t make sense. It didn’t seem fair. One moment you had been perfectly safe, content even, and thinking about how your luck had turned around for the better at last—after so many months of fending for yourself in that abandoned, isolated hellhole—and suddenly you’re just another weak little human again watching your death shuffle closer and closer to you.You need to run. You have to run. But even then, your legs are frozen, your mind ablaze with multiple options and even more horrible endings to those options. Though the titan seemed barely able to walk, you’d seen how easily they could pounce the very moment their prey decided to flee. Like a wolf, springing forth with a speed that seemed wholly impossible for their size and tearing their hands into the unfortunate soul that happened to come within their sightline. You can’t even tear your eyes away as it gets closer, mind running faster than you can try to stop it.How many people has it already eaten?Had it eaten the original inhabitants of this house? Why aren’t you trying to run?Why won’t your legs move?Why?-In that moment, all you can do is scream. The deafening sound fills your ears and aches in your throat, until your lungs burn and your entire body is shaking so bad that you can hardly stand—and even then, you can’t move. Can’t run. It feels almost like it did last time, like before—in Quinta—only you have less of an excuse to cower when you’re not otherwise drowning in ice-cold water. This time, fear is the only thing paralyzing you.But it’s enough. As the titan at last is close enough to reach out, you feel the tips of it’s fingers start to encircle your shoulders—and all you can do is shut your eyes in a childish attempt to hide it, as if the tears hadn’t already left the world a blurry wet mess of colors. The heartbeat in your chest has gotten so loud, pounding rhythmically in your ears, your body, your feet—And that’s when you open your eyes, realizing that the sound isn’t your heartbeat. Before you even have the chance to open your eyes fully, Eren has already all but kicked the other titan away from you. Having barely been lifted a foot or so off the ground, the fall back to it does little more than painfully put you on your ass. But even the pain doesn’t distract you from the sight. The sight of Eren completely ripping apart the other beast, limb from limb, until thick steam wells up from the ground where all the blood and viscera has spilled at his feet. This is different from how you’d normally see him take out other titans—he’s normally efficient and quick, either gouging out the nape of their neck or sinking his teeth into the soft flesh with relative ease. You’d never seen a titan kill another with such human-like intelligence to their weak spots, let alone simply seeing one titan killing another. But Eren is a strange case. A curious case. And for once, he’s killing like he hates the other one. As if he’d utterly lost control of himself and his strength, ripping into flesh, muscle and sinew as if the other titan would regenerate from even the smallest scrap.Like a ravenous, blood-thirsty titan that he was.A monster. It takes a few seconds for you to realize Eren kneeling in front of you. You can see the crimson staining various spots on his body, slowly vaporizing into the air like the rest of the corpse behind him. In pieces. You’re still shaking a little bit when you lift your eyes up towards his face. He’s watching you warily, though not staring at you—no, instead he’s looking across you, from one limb to the other, head to toe.Checking for injuries. You’d feel equally touched and awed by such a complex act of intelligence and compassion if the sense of terror and adrenaline wasn’t still filling your veins with ice-cold reality. For all that you had done, all the days you’d survived, you still froze when looking into the empty, hallow eyes of certain death. Nothing’s changed since Quinta; the screams of your countrymen haunt the back of your mind with an equal horror as the faces of all the titans who had laid siege to the district all those months after Wall Maria. And, if it’s only for a moment, Eren’s face feels like one of them.He reaches a hand out towards you—probably to pull you back onto his shoulder or simply to be safe within sight—but all your mind can see is a monster reaching out to you again, with hallow eyes and a bloodthirsty yearning that could never be sated by all the thousands upon thousands of lives lost between those gleaming teeth.Irony is as fickle as it is cruel, because that is the one moment that you are able to move. To step back, arms pulling up against your chest, make yourself small and limbs harder to grab. Just as they told you in training so long ago.Eren’s hand stills. It’s hard to read the emotion in his eyes, but it’s already hard to see much of anything with how the tears fall thick and burning down your cheeks. All the old ghosts, old memories, old nightmares—they come up at all the worst times, seeming to prove how weak and fragile you feel. You can’t even run from a titan. Can’t even move. Can’t even think.Confusion and fear leave you trembling, and you finally raise your hands up to wipe away all the tears that don’t stop flowing.“I’m sorry,” you sob, as much to yourself as it is to Eren. “I’m sorry I’m so useless.”He isn’t a monster. He isn’t a beast. Despite all the images flashing in the back of your mind, the horrifying recollections of nightmarish things you never want to remember again, the one titan before you is also the only reason that you’re alive. He saved you, continues to save you—and you wish for nothing more than all those memories to be little more than a forgotten bad dream.Eren can’t say anything in reply, but the obligation in the bottom of your chest to offer him some sort of explanation is too strong for you to ignore.“I can’t even stand up against a single titan without you having to come to my rescue. I’m just a useless little human. I—…I know you probably can’t even understand me right now, but I just-”A sudden pressure pushes away your hands still rubbing raw the tears from your cheeks, and that pressure lingers as a touch. The titan’s fingertip feels warm against the side of your face, soothing in such a stark contrast to but a few minutes ago. It anchors you to the moment, enough to get your thoughts and emotions joined enough to think clearly again. To calm the rush of your heartbeat, the shaking of your legs, the free flow of tears falling with seemingly no real origin. With his other hand, Eren reaches out and strokes the tips of his fingers up and down your back soothingly, making no motions to try and hurriedly usher you into his hand as he’d otherwise to get you back onto the safety of his shoulder. He shouldn’t need to spend so many moments uselessly tending to the emotional needs of such a small creature compared to him. He shouldn’t need to do anything. But he does. Minutes tick by as he continues to touch you, so gingerly, letting your tears keep flowing until they finally stop. Until you feel exhausted, almost leaning into the pad of his thumb while the rumbling of his chest so sweetly echoes into yours. And only then does he move, gently turning his open palm so that you can almost fall upon it, curling up with your arms hugging around his thumb with an undeniable sense of exhaustion. Eren watches you, and seems to look you over once more for injuries.“I promise I’m fine otherwise,” you finally say, feeling the ache in your throat from how hard you’d screamed before. “It barely touched me before you got here.”Eren’s eyes watch you.You gaze at him in return. Into his eyes and how they seem to glimmer like emeralds—like there’s something so deep behind them, an endless sense of weight that reaches farther than the clouds in the sky.And his eyes, you realize, they’re very gentle. Very pretty. Maybe even handsome. Before you can even realize it, there’s a heat blooming in your cheeks, lingering even when the titan reaches his hand up to let you crawl onto his shoulder and lean against the side of his neck, half-hidden within his shaggy mess of brown hair. From there, the two of you move on from that farmhouse, making further headway into the feral countryside long since abandoned by humanity deeper within the walls. You’re not sure exactly how far you’d come from where you’d started, but you hope—if the map had been correct—that the journey wouldn’t last too much longer before you’d find a safe place to call home again.

Line Without A Hook (Spencer Reid x Reader)“There never can be a man so lost as one who is lost in the vast and intricate corridors of his own lonely mind, where none may reach and none may save.”― Isaac Asimov, Pebble in the SkyWorking for the FBI is a challenge, office hours are horrible and the world never sleeps in the sense of the bad it can produce. The BAU is a special department that is necessary, saving people, catching bad guys, and being all and all nearly invisible in the back. Delving deep into the twisted and poisoned thoughts of people, formed by death, trauma, and snapped minds. Getting to know the horrible truth of what a broken childhood or a rejected mind can make people push to do.Day in and day out, watching, analyzing, staring death and danger in the face, pureness getting swallowed by the darkness of the world. Emotions and people’s lives getting lost and twisted. Seeing the aftermath of a person tortured, mutilated, traumatized, killed in the worst sense. Dead inside but staying alive for the outside world.Happy endings get swallowed by the next bad case, paperwork making you all relieve the horror you will carry into your sleep and dreams. Making you lock your door twice as secure as normally, work sneaking itself into your daily life. This work does things to all the members of the BAU, things that they try to hide and don’t want to remember any time soon.Kidnappings, drug uses, bullet wounds, mental and physical torture, loss through unsubs, the nagging feeling of doing the right thing and still not saving everyone, the downfall of your psyche because you were too slow and finally the reality that the bad in the world won’t just go away.In the years you were a part of the BAU you saw and experienced a lot of loss and trauma, on yourself or your trusted friends. You saw people come and go, happy at the start and broken in the end, smiles replaced by frowns.Gideon, Elle, Emily, Strauss, Alex, Kate, Aaron, Derek, and many more left because the job got in the way and too much. Trauma and resignment making them change their view on life and considering another way.You understand them and wish them all the best in the world, a life away from all the terrors that plague the daily world. But one person isn’t leaving, is still suffering in silence and putting on a strong face. A boy forced by trauma to grow into a man, a man that went through so much, alone and broken.Dr. Spencer Reid is the textbook example of the way this job with the BAU can form and bend you. He suffered through kidnappings, forced drug use, bullet wounds, near-death experiences, loss of his lover, betrayal, prison, family issues and so much more. And he never even said a word when the world was showing him its darkest side.People noticed and tried to help, but Spencer is a stubborn man, pushing his needs and emotions into the background and giving his all for others and the cases. His genius mind can’t handle the thought of burdening someone else with his problems. He rode himself into them, so he has to find a way out.Sadly you saw the downfall of that thinking a few times. The secretive drug use while everybody knew, him shutting down after Maeve’s death, the way he grew harder to face the terror of the world. The way the soft and sweet boy from the start was forced to hide under a strong and colder man to protect himself from the jobs’ impact on the psyche. It’s not unusual for Spencer to disappear after some cases, just touched down with the jet and he is off, his head filled with dark and confusing thoughts. You watch him every time he rushes off the plane, throwing tight-lipped smiles to your coworkers. These are the moments where you realize that the young boy inside him is breaking through, threatening to drown under the darkness he accumulated over the years. You say your goodbyes to the others and follow the man out of the building, trying to catch up to him. Being one of his best friends sadly grants you the knowledge of how deep his thoughts can spiral and the way he tries to sift through them by himself. The way he will self sabotage himself until he is broken and doesn’t see the good in himself anymore.Breaking him out of that spiral is nearly impossible, but you can slow the fall if you coax him out of his mind, which is your goal for this day. Further help will come when he accepts it.It’s late in the afternoon, the sun slowly setting and dipping the world into some fiery oranges and reds, a stark contrast to the green under your feet. When Spencer spirals he hides away from the world, trying to find comfort in the calm and quiet. While that was his apartment once, it holds too much sorrow and other words now for his mind to form its own.A soft smile settles on your lips when you see the familiar tall figure slumped under a weeping willow, the irony of the name not passing you by. It would have been amusing if you didn’t know the depths the tree already saw coming from Spencer. The many tears and dark thoughts that flow all around the dark bark. The lake was a resort of calm for Spencer, becoming his new safe haven. Not many bad things happen here and it’s secluded enough to let his thoughts wander, allowing him to break apart under the green leaves and the protective shield of the hanging branches.Maybe he specifically sought out this tree because of the name. It’s a place for him to weep and feel his emotions.Slowly, to not startle the man, you settle on the soft grass, keeping some distance between your folded legs. Spencer doesn’t deal well with touch and when his mind is occupied it's even more unwelcome. His body will reach out when it needs the comfort of another person.Calm and silence encase you, only the warm wind rustling through the heavy branches and the soft whispering of the water in the lake, reminding you of the life in nature. The first time you found Spencer here, through the help of an app on his phone, the calm stifled you and made you worry a lot more about his mental health. But now you can see the way it is the opposite of the job, the cases, the horror, the darkness.Spencer shifts beside you, his leg nudging yours and you smile, keeping your eyes on the water. Many visits here made him realize he can open up to you, but he still feels like a burden, so you learned to wait.Wait for him to speak, to settle his thoughts, and open himself up to another person. Sometimes it only takes minutes, sometimes hours and sometimes the dark of the night will leave you with no words from him at all.Quietly you turn your hand so the grass tickles the back of it, opening yourself up for his touch. It takes a bit but then you feel the warmth of his fingers close around yours, hesitant and then stronger and nearly desperate. You stroke his skin and he finally looks at you, mustering you with deep brown eyes, questions lingering just under the surface.Meeting his gaze, you stay quiet and wait, not breaking eye contact while he tries to sort his thoughts to convey them to you. Because this is the time he wants to share, share his doubts, his dreams, his ideas, and his desperations.“Is it worth it?”It’s a whispered and choked question coming from him, his voice shaking at the end, making your heart clench in your chest. It’s a loaded question, one that would make or break him.Squeezing his hand, you take a deep breath and settle your view back onto the lake.To be honest, you asked yourself the same question a lot already. Every bad case lingers for days and the fact that you were too slow, too unknowing, too helpless, settles heavily on you.Could you have done more? Would the victim still be alive if you were just… better? Faster? More? But this is what breaks you, makes you spiral, and lets you forget the light in life. The good side that challenges the dark. You look back at Spencer and meet his teary eyes, ready to spill the sorrow and pain he holds.“I don’t know, Spencer. I won’t lie to you. I don’t know if this job is worth the pain and suffering. But I know that the result will only be the same when you let it dictate you. I once thought that going would be the best course of action, just leave and let it behind you. All the death and blood and horror. But I can’t”, you laugh dryly, the thought heavy on your heart.“I can’t let the darkness win. I can’t just ignore the way that bad people will win when nobody is fighting for the light anymore. So no, it might not be worth it, but I can’t live with myself when I don’t try. I will lose myself when I let them win.”You sigh, a deep and heavy sound, making you realize that you aren’t that black and white either. Not as deeply traumatized as Spencer, but still scarred by the job you handle. It seems unavoidable when you stare at the darkest emotions and twisted minds daily.Spencer’s grip on your hand tightens and his knee settles heavily on yours, desperate for the warmth and the solidity that is your body, your presence. He is quiet, but you can hear his thoughts running around his brilliant mind, racing to catch his attention. Trying to process your words and applying the meaning to himself, adding to his own beliefs or changing it.Slowly you lift your hand and touch his cheek, wet with spilled tears, and he watches you, his whole attention on you.You smile, amused by the fact how quickly you dust his mind with a touch.“Spencer, I would take it all. All the pain, if I could. But I can’t.”He nods slowly, unknowingly leaning into your touch while you stroke his skin, wiping away the tears and wishing you could heal his broken soul.“What I can do is give you my promise. I promise you that I will be there to pull you from the depths of your mind. You don’t deserve the darkness that plagues you and I will do my best to make you realize that there is still so much light inside you.”Spencer takes your hand from his cheek and pushes forward, crushing into your body and clutching onto you. Sobs wrack him and wet tears soak into your shoulder, all his emotions rushing out and leaving him a scared boy, the same one that saw his dad leave. With a heavy heart, you hold onto him, arms secure around him, shielding him and his vulnerability from the world.“There's a sorrow and pain in everyone's life, but every now and then there's a ray of light that melts the loneliness in your heart and brings comfort like hot soup and a soft bed.”― Hubert Selby Jr., Requiem for a Dream
Yuri on Ice
Yurio x Male|reader 11 [End](Name)’s Pov:I took a deep breath before opening my eyes, looking up at the ceiling, little lights were seeping through the curtains, my hand running through Yuri’s hair as he slept soundly on my chest, Yesterday… was a mess, why? Just why did my father have to come back at that exact moment. I slowly and carefully move Yuri to lay back on the bed, before getting out of the bed, kissing Yuri’s head before walking over to the door, I left the room and went to the elevator, hoping I could find my father in his office, I walked in to see his writing down on different documents, he glanced up, before looking back down. “I presume that you have come to your senses,” father said, as he continued reading and writing. “No, nothing of the sort, in honesty, I believe you owe me an apology,” I said, taking a seat in one of the armchairs in front of his desk, one leg crossed over the other.“How so?” he said looking up at me, his pen now laying on the desk and his arms crossed. “Well, for a start, you acted very immaturely in front of precious guests, you acted unfairly over for Christopher, who by the way had nothing to do with me Ice skating” I could see him tense up by the mention of ice” and you acted absolutely ridiculous in front of my lover, so yes I believe that not only do you owe me an apology, but also our guest, my lover and especially Christopher.” I wasn’t even sorry, for being so harsh on him, my father needed to see that he had done wrong, despite his own beliefs against it being so. “I see, well I think we stand at a crossroad, I don’t intend to apologies, you broke a promise, that is your fault, now if you will please excuse me, I have to speak with a contractor to get rid of that bloody ice rink”“Father, you can not be serious?! You don’t actually intend to remove the ice rink,” I said standing up from my seat. “Of course I do, then nothing will be there to tempt you,” He said going back to his papers. “Well, I won’t be here to see you destroy one of the few things I have left of my mother,” I said leaving the room, slamming the door shut, you could feel the vibrations in the floor from the force. I went back to the elevator clicking the lobby, leaning against the wall, the elevator stopped and I looked up seeing Yuri standing there“Oh, good morning darling,” I said now while a smile on my face, he didn’t answer, he just walked over and hugged me, the doors closed ones again, taking us down. I could sense that he didn’t want to talk, I let my arm wrap around him while leaning over and pushing the button to the parking garage.” let’s get out of here”I opened the door to my car, letting Yuri get inside before going around and taken a seat in the driver side, driving out of the garage, I made it to the entry of the hotel, seeing my dad, standing with a man that looked like a builder, probably a contractor, I looked back on the road and speeded away from the property, making it onto the highway, I just kept on driving while Yuri sat beside me, now holding my hand tightly, calming down just a bit, hours went by before any of us spoke. “I know, something is wrong,” Yuri said quietly.“I’m sorry” I took my hand back, before driving into a rest stop, stopping the car, I turned to Yuri seeing him looking back at me,” I didn’t mean to drag you into all of this,”“You didn’t,”“Yes, I did. And now I basically kidnapped you,” I said as Yuri took my hand into both of his” I’m… just so angry, my father seems to insist on taking all memories of my mother away,” “It’s okay to be mad, I’m here for you, when if you ‘’kidnapped’’ me,” he said chuckling lowly in the end, I felt a smile tuck its way onto my face” but what made you so upset?” “My father, he is planning to destroy the ice rink… that ice rink was my for my mother,” I said I felt Yuri squeeze my hand more” I have so many good memories of that rink, and I refuse to see him ruin the few things that I have left of my mother,”Yuri’s pov:I hummed before leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek, he turned to look at me and I sent him a smile, which he returned.“We should head back if we leave now, we can get back for dinner, besides we are leaving tonight, so I need to pack too…” I became sad halfway through the sentence, knowing that I would be leaving the country, without knowing when I would see (Name) again. “Yeah,” (Name) said leaning over and kissed me on the lips, pulling back with a smile on his face. He leaned back in his seat, placing a kiss on my knuckles before letting go of my hand and he shifted gear and started to drive, so we could get back to the hotel,” If you are worried about us, don’t. We’ll make this work”I smiled and nodded my head, knowing that (Name) was right, we would alright.Time skipWe went to the restaurant and started to eat dinner, Yuuri and Viktor joined us soon after.“So is Christopher coming or is he too busy?” (Name) asked with a chuckle. We all looked between each other, worry was our main emotion, (Name) didn’t know that Chris had already left the night before, due to (Name)’s father.“(Name), Chris went home after what happened with your father,” Yuuri said.“What? No, why would he do that? He knows I don’t’ care about what my father says,” (Name) mumbled, pulling out his phone” I have to go see him”Again we just looked between each other. We had all went back to our rooms to pack, even (Name), he was planning on going to Switzerland to talk with Chris. I walled out of my room, my suitcase behind me, we had all agreed to meet in the lobby, except (Name) as he had to get the car. Yuuri and Viktor hadn’t come down yet so I was alone, I took a seat at one of the lounge chairs, waiting.“You’re (Name)’s lover,” I turned to see (Name)’s dad standing behind the chair, I quickly stood up, being polite to my boyfriend’s father.“I am. Yuri Plisetsky, sir,” I said holding out my hand, which he took, firmly. “I see…” he trailed off, he was quite intimidating, scary to be honest, but then I remembered all of the texts (Name) and I had shared, his dad only acted like this because his son meant everything to him, otherwise he was a bit of an airhead” break up with him,”“What?” I asked.“You hear, I want you to break up with my son, by doing so there will be no more distraction for (Name) to take, people like you is what is driving him away, even now,” He said, still having a hard grip on my hand, I tried to pull back, but couldn’t” so you see you have to break up with him,” I harshly yanked my hand back and took a step back. “No, I’m not going to break up with (Name), I care too much about him to lose him, beside the one pushing him farther away is you, it may not be in my right to say, but what you are doing is hurting him, making his friend leave and I know you don’t want to lose (Name) like his mother but to destroy something that (Name) only remember fondly and taking a part of his mother is just hurting him,” I said, walking over to Viktor and Yuuri who was by the reception, handing in our keycards, we left and got into (Name)’s car that was waiting outside, I was in the front seat as the other two got in the back, I turned to see (Name)’s dad standing at the top of the stairs as we left.Time Skip to the airport(Name) parked in the stop that said was reserved for the Chamber family.“You have a reserve spot at the airport?” I asked as I out of the car getting my suitcase from the trunk.“My father and I travel a lot, if he’s not I often will be,” (Name) said as we went into the airport to check-in.We had checked in our luggage and gotten our boarding passes, we were just walking around looking at was the shops were selling, (Name) and I were walking hand in hand, while Yuuri and Viktor had decided to just wait the time out at the cafe close to our gate. “(Name)… I’m sorry,” I said while stopping, he looked at me confused” I, I kind of told off your dad, before leaving the hotel,”“It’s alright, honestly he deserved it, thank you, I know you did it for me,” he said kissing the top of my head.“Flight 304 to st. Petersburg, Russia, gate 13 is now opening of boarding”“Come on,” (Name) said pulling me along as we went the gate, meeting up with Viktor and Yuuri, (Name) pulled me into a thigh hug which I welcome happily since I didn’t know when we would see each other again. “ Text me when you land, okay?”I nodded into his chest before tilting my head up and pulling his head down so our lips met in a deep kiss before parting.“God… I love you,” (Name) whispered out, to be honest, I almost thought that I just imagined it.“I lov-”“Sir, we are closing the boarding now, if you would please preside with the board it would be appreciated.“Go,” (Name) said gently pushing me forward, I went in and waved as I went onto the plane onto I could see him anymore, I took my seat beside Yuuri, bucked up and leaned back, putting my headphones in and closed my eyes. Time Skip“What a performance from Yuri Plisetski, and quite a score landing him in the first place, moving Leo De La Iglesia to second, and that ends this year’s Fourth Event - NHK Trophy,”I went to the podium, once again everyone was getting ready for the Grand Prix Finals, getting qualified was not hard, after all, I know that (Name) was always waiting to call so we could talk after every competition. We had kept in touch after splitting over half a year ago, we still stood strong in our relationship even though we haven’t met in person since then, (Name) had gone to Switzerland and talked with Chris, so they are friends again, he had also talked overall of the travelling needed in the Chamber business and he refused to go back to the hotel, not wanting to talk with his dad, or see what he had changed the rink into. I went to shower and change back to some more comfortable clothes before leaving to find Yuuri and Viktor, they didn’t have an event at the moment so they came as my support team which was really nice of them. I saw their backs, it seemed that they were talking with someone, Viktor moved a little to the side and I stopped dead in my track, letting my bag fall to the floor before I sprinted over to the man I was deeply in love with, he saw me and smile holing out his arms as I jumped into them, wrapping both arms and legs around him, I crashed my lips onto his, I’m surprised I didn’t break both of our front teeth, he held me close, not caring about the whispers and cameras around us and we just stayed in our own personal bubble, seconds if not minutes went by before our lips parted.“I love you,” I said quietly letting my head, rest in the cruck of his neck.“Hello to you too, beautiful” (Name) chuckled out squeezing me tighter” I love you too,”I finally let him go as he placed me back on the floor.“When did you get?”“Not that long, incredible performance, congratulations on winning gold,” (Name) said as he intertwined our fingers.“Thanks, I can’t believe that you are here,” I said leaning into him. “You know, I should be thanking you,” I looked at him, confused on what he meant” I talked to my father, I actually went back to the hotel, it seems that what you said to my father struck a nerve, the rink still stands, it is actually a memorial to my mother now, so people know who made it happen, he apologises to me and Chris, he also told me to bring you back some time so he could apologies to you as well,” (Name) said running his hand through my hair and kissed my head, I leaned in closer. “ and you know, now with the world as my witness, I can’t give you a ring yet, we are still young but I hope you will at least accept my promise. Yuri, I promise that from now on I will stay true to you and love you for as long as you will have me, do you agree?”“I do,” I said as our lips met once again to seal this promise.Author note: wow, this is the end, I honestly never thought that I would get here, so thank you for reading this story, I really appreciate it, love you guys❤

I am terribly sorry for those that have been wanting to post in the Reader-Inserts group. Myself, and the admins, have been inactive since the beginning of 2021. I have to admit that I have forgotten that I did own the group. This website was also forgotten by me.
I am looking for five Co-Founders, and one Founder.
Founder applications will have more requirements. I will not be super-strict and picky, do not worry. I am more focused on making sure that this group will be in good hands, and will be active.
Please fill this application out in order to apply for one of the six positions. I will review and choose the candidates a week from now (Friday, September 17th).
